Here's rough 10 minute mix of robots.
Coming soon, better mix and dub.
It sucks basically.
Here are some things you can do.
Import the subtitles before you put video on the track to prevent timecode mismatch errors
To edit subtitles properly, not one by feaking one.
Export dvd item description for the track you want.
Extract subtitles using "Subtitle Xtractor"
Work with them in "Jubler"
Save as .stl
Import the .stl back into DVDsp
To burn the subtitles back into FCP.
Same as above but import the .stl file you saved out of Jubler in Belle Nuit Subtitler.
Change the look and feel. Check all the text is showing up.
Here's something that rankles me whenever I'm knocking out words on the computer. It's that little wiggly red line that appears as you type, you know the one, it shows up underneath words that are, ahem, miss-spelled. Like colour for example, or organised, or the double whammy - colourisation.
Now i am fully aware of the fact that this is so-called US English and I could just change the dictionary settings to International English, but you got to admit it's annoying having to change all the defaults to get things to work right (don't get me started on US letter paper size).
There's been a lot of Bible bashing in the Herald recently (Abbott and Costello i'm looking at you). As an atheist I'd like to have a crack at a response.
What's all this about? Well there's raves about stuff that irks me. Mostly advertising nastiness. There's things I thought up that I think are funny. It's also a testbed and record for Drupal stuff. Oh and there's stuff about Raves - Sydney - early 90s. We are buggin' Oh Yeah.
